Purpose: WhimNote: AI Notes is an AI-powered note-taking app whose purpose is to help you capture and organize your own notes, voice recordings, photos and documents — then transcribe, summarize, search and chat with them. It turns fleeting thoughts and voice memos into organized, searchable knowledge, in one simple app.
No account is required to read this page. WhimNote: AI Notes is available on iOS and Android, and you can sign in with Apple or Google. The free version shows ads; subscriptions remove ads and unlock voice features.
What WhimNote does and why
WhimNote is a personal note-taking application that uses AI to help people capture and organize information. Its purpose is to let you save anything you want to remember as text, a voice recording, a photo or a document, then automatically make it useful and easy to find again. Specifically, WhimNote is used to:

Capture voice notes, meetings and ideas and turn them into accurate text transcripts.
Summarize
Condense long recordings and text into short summaries you can review in seconds.
Capture images & documents
Snap a whiteboard, receipt or page and extract the important details from it.
Ask your notes
Chat with your own saved content and get answers grounded in what you stored.
Semantic search
Search by meaning, not just keywords, to resurface the right note from months ago.
Organize & sync
Keep your notes organized and available across your devices, and delete them anytime.
WhimNote is a general-purpose productivity tool for note-taking and personal knowledge management. It is intended for users to store and revisit their own notes and recordings.
How WhimNote uses your Google data
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, WhimNote requests only the basic profile information needed to create and secure your account — your name, email address and profile picture. We use it solely to identify you and let you sign in.
- We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Photos or any other Google Workspace data.
- We do not sell your Google user data or use it for advertising or profiling. The free version uses Google AdMob for ads; its device and advertising identifiers are described separately in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not use Google user data to train, develop or improve generalized AI or ML models.
- Only the account data listed in our Privacy Policy is collected, and you can request its deletion at any time.
Transparency first. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over your data.
Our commitment to safe, compliant use of Google APIs
WhimNote accesses Google user data only through Google Sign-In, for the limited purpose of authenticating you and creating your account.
- WhimNote’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- WhimNote uses Google APIs only for the purposes described above, and never for advertising, resale, or building user profiles.
- WhimNote does not use Google APIs, and does not allow its users to use the app, to create, generate, request, promote or facilitate AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII), deepfakes, or any other content that violates the Google APIs Terms of Service or applicable law.
- Content that is unlawful, deceptive, or that violates the rights of others is not permitted and will be removed; accounts that violate these rules may be terminated.
Access or delete your data at any time
You own the notes you create. You can review, export or delete your content inside the app, and you can ask us to delete your account and the personal data associated with it.
- Open WhimNote and go to your account/profile, then delete individual notes, or use “Delete account”.

- You may also revoke WhimNote’s access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account permissions.
